Kuzikus Shop – handmade in Namibia

Many of our pieces are created by Ilka Preschel-Reinhard (ikina designs). An architect and designer, she has a fine sense of space, materials and atmosphere. She designs bags, cushions and home accessories that first adorned our guest farm and can now enrich your home too.

Local fabrics are lovingly upcycled in a timeless “Out of Africa” style. Existing materials become something new, carefully sewn by hand. No two pieces are alike: each is unique, with its own character and story.

If you would like to create your own interpretation of the Kalahari, Ilka is the person to see. Alongside the shop, she offers art courses on request. With pencil and brush, you create your own works inspired by feathers, pods, tracks in the sand and everything nature offers around the guest farm.

Every purchase brings joy to you or someone you care about, while a share of the proceeds goes directly to black rhino protection and conservation here at Kuzikus. Your souvenir becomes a small, lasting contribution to one of Africa’s rarest species, and the memory of your journey has an impact well beyond your stay.
