Road to Kuzikus Wildlife Reserve & Astronomy Guest Farm, Kalahari, Namibia

Approximately 2½ hours’ drive. A car with good ground clearance is sufficient; four-wheel drive is not required. Camping is not available.

Take the tarred C23 south-east towards Dordabis, approximately 60 km.

Drive past Dordabis, without going through the village, and stay on the C23.

The tarred road ends shortly after Dordabis.
Continue for 60 km on a well-maintained gravel road.

After 60 km, you will reach a junction towards Leonardville.
- Continue straight ahead onto the M51. ⚠️ Please note: the C23 turns right here!
- After approximately 500 m, the M51 bends sharply to the left. Drive carefully!
- After a total of 1 km, immediately after the left-hand bend, turn right onto the D1423.
Follow the gravel D1423 for 15 km until you see a sign for “KUZIKUS”.

Turn right onto the farm track indicated by the sign.

Follow the farm track for 15 km, passing through three older farm gates.
At the end, you will reach the golden-brown main gate of Kuzikus Wildlife Reserve.
PLEASE NOTE: You are now entering a state-recognised black rhino conservation area.
Please remain in your vehicle and stay on the track!
After a further 10 km, you will reach the guest farm’s entrance gate.
Drive through. We look forward to welcoming you.
